The Old
House Cottage - being the restored original farmhouse probably
dating back to the 1700's - provides luxurious 5 star
self-catering cottage accommodation for those
requiring more independence. Our Farmhouse
dating back to the late 1800's provides comfortable 3 star accommodation suitable for both holiday
and business visitors, on either a B&B or half-board basis.
Cyclists, Walkers and Fishermen are all welcome - as assured by
our Welcome awards for these groups (we are currently unable to display the
Walkers Welcome logo ... it's gone wrong!).
Families will find the cottage and B&B ideal ... plenty of
space for the kids to run and play ... including our new level play area with swings
and games ... and award winning beaches within 4 miles. There are also lots of
things to see and do in the area ... you would not
believe how much West Wales has to offer!
Please see our Access Statement to assess whether or not our
accommodation and cottage meet your requirements in terms of any disabilities
you may have.

Once a substantial estate, Nant Y Brenni is now a delightful
small farm nestling in 12
acres of fields, lakes and woodland. The traditional buildings date back to the
17th century, the
oldest being the original farmhouse restored in 2002 to provide the 'Old House'
Cottage (Yr Hen Dy Bwythn).
The more recent 18th century farmhouse has been
sympathetically renovated to provide luxurious accommodation on a B&B or
half-board basis, with panoramic views over the Ceri valley.

Partial view from the farmhouse
From the grounds you can enjoy yet more panoramic views, including glimpses of the distant
Preseli Hills. Bordered by the Brenni stream, a series of small lakes are home
to our ducks and geese, and provide a haven for wildlife. Sparrowhawks and
buzzards are frequent visitors, while red kites, merlin, goshawks and numerous
smaller birds can be spotted. Other
residents/visitors include polecats, badgers
and foxes.
There is plenty of space for children to run and play, and
they can join in feeding the animals
- subject to supervision by their parents.
Ideally situated for activity, beach, country pursuit and other
special interest holidays, there are numerous things to
see and do.
Cyclists and walkers are welcome, and we can transport your
luggage to your next destination by arrangement. We also have details of
cycling and walking routes in the area, with maps that you can buy or borrow.
For cyclists we also carry a comprehensive repair kit and can transport you at
cost to the nearest cycle dealer for more serious problems!
Fishermen are also made very welcome, as assured by our Angler
Friendly accreditation.
Our Welcome Host Gold award
ensures you of a warm welcome. We will do our utmost to make your stay enjoyable
- from providing 5 day weather forecasts (no guarantees on the accuracy!),
up-to-the minute information on river conditions for fishermen, tide tables for
beach-goers and boaters, lending walking maps to walkers, mending leaky waders,
and giving mini-tractor rides for the children!
In 2005 we were awarded the Green Dragon Environmental Award
- level 2. This has been reconfirmed for 2007. We have developed an Environmental Policy document
that defines how we try to ensure our business has a minimal impact on the
environment.
