Gardener's Delight

Up

West Wales is a garden lover's paradise.

Suffice to say there are lots of gardens to visit in the local area, some open every day, others on special 'open' days.  The wonderfully restored medieval gardens at Aberglasney are just 45 minutes away, as are the National Botanical Gardens.

There are also numerous nurseries, specialist nurseries, and small 'garden centres'  in the local area. Just a mile away there's a nursery specialising in 'bog' plants.  'Oasis' a nursery offering hardy exotic plants is nearby and well worth a visit just to marvel at what they have - and enjoy a snack or lunch.  Trefhedyn Garden Centre is located in Newcastle Emlyn - they grow their own plants - you can be assured of bargain prices so keep some space clear in the car boot - or bring a trailer!!!
