Spring has come early ... we've had a January lamb (somewhat unexpected by us!) but this little ewe lamb  is doing very well.  In fact it isn't so little! We now have 20 ewes - and no rams.

Finally managed to sell the rams in September, having tried on several occasions, each time being defeated by closure of the Marts due to a foot & mouth outbreak somewhere in the UK.  The problem is the Marts are closed even though the outbreak isn't even in Wales! But this is for understandable reasons ...

We've had a few daffodils flowering since before Christmas, but others are now flowering too as are the snowdrops, crocuses and primroses.  One Azalea is also in flower that doesn't normally flower until May!

The recent sunny weather has been very enjoyable ... and we are now having wonderfully clear frosty nights again but the plants don't seem to mind.  These nights are brilliant for star-gazing ... just wrap up warm!

Join us soon to enjoy the best of Spring with flowers in the hedgerows, and hopefully some chicks I'm trying to hatch in the incubator.  The geese and ducks are laying already ...

After a day out in the sunny, if a little chilly weather, enjoy a warming whirlpool bath then toast your toes in front of your wood burning stove (supplemented by full CH of course!).

Book now for Spring Breaks, Easter Weekend, and the school holidays in April.
